Hi there, and thank you for your interest! PlazmoDolz is an NFT art series created by me, Brian Bueza.
The series is designed to be cute, fun, and may include a pop-cultural reference. Designs are loosely presented as cel shaded-style animation art. PlazmoDolz observes an appreciation for geek culture and nostalgia. The first series will feature a chubby bear as the main character. More series’ to follow in the future will feature other anthropomorphized animals or beings, depicted in various but recognize-able, humorous contexts or scenarios. One-off original designs will also be produced. Each piece are hand drawn in a distinct style and processed digitally as vector-based files.
At this point in time, I am my own team. I do have a couple house plants - real ones near my desk, that I care for. I consider them part of my team. Unfortunately, they only help with oxygen production, but that is A-OK; they still get watered and I'm still drawing and doing everything else to get this art out there. Like these plants, I expect to grow. I am foremost someone who loves illustration and desires to make unique, entertaining art for folks to enjoy, share. Once I launch sales, I will post relevant information here, although I will be promoting on social media - ahead of time for those interested.
BACKSTORY
In the PlazmoDolz world, the character depicted is basically my avatar. An art piece, is, in essence, a visualization of memories where I've experienced media or products in the past and all the way up to present day, as a nostalgic, imaginative nerd.
In designing and producing PlazmoDolz, I have characters that can move easily through various pop-cultural references, inherit their experiences as guests in other worlds, influenced by their environments or depicted scenes. There's immense potential for new stories for each variant although all variants can have a shared origin story. Aspects of story and purpose are still in development.
VISION
I am an artist with experience as a graphic designer and as a 3D artist in the animation industry. One of my hobbies is 3D printing (SLA). Given my familiarity in those particular interests, I believe there's incredible potential to manifest PlazmoDolz as 3D printed objects (.stl files), a zine, wear, or as assets for the Metaverse. These proposed items would be exclusive for owners of PlazmoDolz NFT art.
My objective is to conclude research on which direction is viable for putting together a PlazmoDolz 'owner exclusive' to which access will be provided; once the project gains appreciable momentum. I hope you will enjoy and be a part of the PlazmoDolz experience and thank you for visiting.
